Final Day in PR

By the time you read this, we will be on the plane home!!

We have so appreciated your prayers for us throughout this week! Today was THE LONGEST work day ever. We had to push really hard to complete our jobs of cementing, forming, securing walls, etc in order for the next group to be set up for their next task. Jon Marshall was very encouraging the whole day and we couldn’t have done it without the team surrounding one another and working together.

We had a great image of the body of Christ coming together to work as one as we looked at the project that we worked hard to complete. Everyone had a role. Whether it was bending the rebar for the beams, mixing cement for the towers, laying brick for the walls, we all came together.

We are TIRED and have NOTHING left physically or mentally to give. God has truly been our strength and we are thankful.

Thanks for following us this week. We have been blessed by your support and your comments too:)

To the family and friends of these amazing students, we thank you for the opportunity to serve alongside of Jordan, Mike, Tiana, Cam, Taylor, Laura, Dillon, Gina, Karen, Jess, Andrea, and Michaela. As the trip leaders, we have been immensely blessed by their excellent attitudes, hard work ethic, and hearts to serve. Thank you.

Love, Carrie and Anna

  1. It's been awesome following your trip and all the entertaining and encouraging stories!! We read every detail! Job well done team and it's great to hear Jess and the rest went home "cement wasted!"!! It would be great to have some personal recaps when you are all back to "normal". -Diana
