God

If I had to give one word to describe what today was, it would have to be “God”. The day started off as an early bird morning some of us got up at 6 am to watch the Puerto Rico sunrise and others “slept in”. However, we were not able to actually see the full sunrise because we had to take off at 7 am for our fun filled day of adventure!

The first destination stop was Playa Santa. It was a beach that was off in the middle of what seemed nowhere. Being alone as a team was heaven sent. It allowed us to appreciate God through nature. We spent about three hours with the Texas mission’s team snorkeling and playing on the beach. The top findings were sea urchins, and the conch, which ended up being a home for a baby octopus! The adventure didn’t end there though. The next place we went to was called the window cave. This was a cave that opened up to a gorgeous view overlooking the island allowing us to stand in awe of the beauty of Gods creation.
The final destination was the lava rocks and the waves. There was nothing like anticipating the next strike of the wave, hearing the force of the wave hitting the rock, and seeing the power of the wave when it shot up about 50 feet up in the air.

There was something about that site that portrayed Gods majesty and power.

Once we got back to the camp we concluded the day by reminiscing about events that occurred throughout the day. We then had a great heart to heart fellowship, which the Lord had blessed by bringing us together in His presence. Today was definitely a God filled day!!!

  1. "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth." - Psalm 19:1-6

Perhaps nothing can illustrate God's greatness more than to just sit and marvel at His wonder and power. I am so happy that you are all able to experience such an awesome thing. Just through these posts I can see how God is working in each and every one of your heart's and how you are all growing to closer to Him. It truly is something special. 5. Your post reminds me of the article often read in Core 100, God is Multilingual. God speaks to us in so many ways, and to some, His creation is the way they see God the most. Your post REALLY makes me want to live, I mean visit, PR!
Enjoy your last few days and hours in PR. The trip is not over so the Lord is not finished revealing Himself to EACH of you individually and to the Team. According to Ephesians, He reveals His great and precious promises to those who believe. Are you believing still? Believe you will see Him even as your trip comes to a close. You guys aren't finished and neither is HE!
Don't stop at 99% give it all you've got for His glory! You are His instruments of peace and love wherever you go and the World (this includes SAU) is waiting & in need of YOU!
    Blessings,
    Kim
