We are Carrie Williams' parents writing with a team update:
The flight from Detroit to Newark, NJ was delayed because the pilot had logged too many hours and a replacement wasn't available on time. As a result of this, the team missed their connecting flight out of New Jersey. The team is flying to Newark tonight and will have to wait for the next available flight to Puerto Rico. The last we heard, that flight is Saturday morning so they may be spending two nights in Newark. At this point, the airline is picking up hotel and other costs. It's good they're young! Spring break travel can be rather crazy!
