Phew! We have been really busy these past 2 months working hard on fundraising for the trip (which is just 3 days away! 3!!) Thank you for those of you who received our letters and have supported us thus far! You bless us!
The team has been putting forth their best efforts in creativity, labor, organization, advertisement, and sooooo much more in order to help fund this trip! We are still a few dollars short...
Here is a rundown of our fundraisers we have done:
We enjoyed the Valentines Day season by selling Crush's for Your Crush (we sold hugs too-see the photo).
We had the opportunity to be a part of SAU's Missions Marketplace. All the Spring Break Missions teams get together for an open mic night and we all sell something different. Our team had the brilliant idea of selling: Hair wraps, glitter strands, Crush's (of course!), and....drum roll please...amazing Cake Pops! Cake pops are no joke! They are delicious and require labor and fingers that need licking by the end!
After enjoying our time at the MarketPlace and making cake pops and more cake pops, we hosted another Thriftstore where students across campus donated items allowing our team to sell them for $1! It was a great turn out.
We recently wrapped up our famous Date Auction (which is always fun, hilarious, exciting, and a great way to bring in some more $$$! We are thankful!)
