Last Day

So this is Micah filling everyone out there in on our last day in Puerto Rico. We finished up all our projects we started through out the week: the back board, the plumbing, pouring the kitchen floor,

cleaning the rooms, the pingpong table, the signs, and plastering the wall. I'm sure there were other projects, but I can't think of them. We finished with time to spare so our last day in Puerto Rico was a relaxing one. We were able to sit back and enjoy each other's company while ministering to the camp relationally. We connected with Jon, Theresa, their kids, as well as some other kids who wandered their way onto the camp grounds. We shot hoops in the newly finished basketball hoop,
swam in the ocean, and went down the water slide. There were a few bumps and bruises going down the slide, but they were well worth it. Our group was invited over for games, goodies, and goodbyes at the Marshall's. We were able to thank them for all their hospitality and for putting up with us kids. It was a good closing celebration. We will miss them and we wish we could stay for another week. By the way we threw Carrie and Anna into the ocean (more like pile drove).

I gave my testimony and showed how God have thoroughly blessed my life. If God can love me than He can love anyone. God has given the SAU team a great week. It has been such a blessing to be here. I can't even begin to imagine the lives that the work we did will touch. Thank you so much for your prayers and support. Please be thinking of us as we leave camp at 3AM to catch our 6:15 flight out of San Juan. We'll post again when we get home.

  1. Very fun to hear you were able to finish all the projects and in the middle of all that grow closer to the Father with other God followers.
